Harbor Payments again named one of Georgia’s top 10 fastest growing tech companies in Deloitte’s Technology Fast 50 Program
Atlanta, GA, October 13, 2006 – Harbor Payments, the leading provider of next-generation electronic billing, invoicing and payments management solutions, again has been named to Deloitte’s prestigious Technology Fast 50 Program for Georgia. The Technology Fast 50 is a ranking of the 50 fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications and life sciences companies in the state by Deloitte & Touche USA LLP, one of the nation’s leading professional services organizations. Rankings are based on the percentage of revenue growth during the five year period of 2001-2005. Harbor Payments CEO Ashish K. Bahl credits the dedication and focus of Harbor Payments’ team and strategic partners with the company’s 712 percent revenue growth from 2001–2005. “Harbor Payments is fortunate to work side-by-side with some of the world’s most respected and recognizable companies to seamlessly deliver real value and significant return on investment to our loyal and growing base of Fortune 1000 clients,” said Bahl. The Georgia Technology Fast 50 Program is presented by Deloitte and sponsored by Kilpatrick Stockton LLP, NASDAQ, Technology Association of Georgia (TAG) and media sponsored by PR Newswire. “Sustaining high revenue growth over five years is an exceptional accomplishment,” said Andrew Harrs, Deloitte Southeast TMT Regional Managing Partner. “We commend Harbor Payments for making the commitment to technology and delivering on the promise of market longevity. We are proud to honor Harbor Payments as a Deloitte Technology Fast 50 winner.” To qualify for the Technology Fast 50, companies must have had operating revenues of at least $50,000 in 2001 and $5,000,000 in 2005, be headquartered in North America, and be a company that owns proprietary technology or proprietary intellectual property that contributes to a significant portion of the company’s operating revenues; or devotes a significant proportion of revenues to the research and development of technology. Using other companies’ technology or intellectual property in a unique way does not qualify.
